Rescued from the archives (aka “I found the piece of paper I’d scribbled this on a year-and-a-half-ago”) and restored to all its digital goodness by Liberty “The Cartographer” Montano, I’m pleased to present to you the map of the World After The Black, aka the setting for the the Blood Skies novels.
Note that the unmarked tower/fortress/spike things are Bonespires — Ebon Cities fortress complexes.
For those of you playing the home game, you can print out a copy and trace Eric Cross’s travels through the novels with a crayon. ;D
BLOOD SKIES: Cross’s story begins in Blackmarsh, but the main thrust of the novel takes Cross from Thornn, to Wormwood, to Dirge, up through the Bone March, to Rhaine, across the Carrion Rift, to Koth, and back to the Carrion Rift.
BLACK SCARS: Begins east of Thornn, then takes Eric into Shul Ganneth, all of the way back to Krul, all of the way back to Karamanganjii, and eventually back to Thornn.
SOULRAZOR: Starts in the Bonespire west of Thornn, then moves back to Thornn, into Wolftown, into the wilderness southeast of Wolftown, to Shadowmere, and finally the railroad on the southern coast, with numerous jumps all over time and space in between.
CROWN OF ASH: Without giving too much away, Book 4 takes place in Blacksand, Black Scar, Voth Ra’morg, and the Carrion Rift. The Whisperlands are the setting for a large part of the novel, but no map exists for that realm of shadows.
THE WITCH’S EYE: Giving even less away, Book 5 will take place in Voth Ra’morg, Wolfland, Wolftown, Lorn, The Reach, Dirge, the Nightblood River, and Rimefang Loch.
SKULLFIRE, VAMPIRE DOWN, THE ENDING DREAM & DARKER SUNSET: You’ll just have to wait and see. ;D

[...] My fondness for fantasy map creation began over ten years ago when I began designing my world, Grymmlore. Profantasy made it worse. Then last week, I made a quick map for the hubster’s fantasy setting. [...]
