Welcome to Six-Sentence Sunday!
Yes, I’m technically still on hiatus. But I wasn’t about to leave my Six-Sentence Sunday Homies hanging. In celebration of BLOOD SKIES going free everywhere, here’s an excerpt from the novel that started it all. Enjoy!
The fields of snow and rivers of ice are reflective white and blue, like steel and bone, a mirror a thousand miles long. A ghost train screams by in the distance, and it belches a stream of dark smoke into the air. In the middle of this nowhere stands a massive mountain as black as coal. It pierces the sky and penetrates the heavens.
He sees the forest glade at the base of the mountain. He knows that she is there.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to head on over to Six Sunday and check out the other participating authors!

RT @LibertysYarn: Read Blood Skies. It’d make a kick-ass film & b/c 4 books (so far) are done, no worries about ewoks or JarJar probs. http://t.co/sKcWDi91

Good to see you’re back for now!
I wanted to tell you, that I just went on Amazon.com to buy your book for my kindle, then realizing that I am on the wrong end of the world to buy it (and I don’t have a credit card either… so, what was I thinking?!) In my desperation I turned to German Amazon, and tadaa, there I found it, Blood Skies!! I’ll post the first review in German once I’m finished reading it. I’m sure it will be exellent. Oh, almost forgot, another great six this week.

Great Six, Steven. I really look forward to reading your books. Blood Skies is the next one I’ll begin after finishing the two I’m currently reading. Yeah, I tend to read a couple at a time.
I also added Soulrazor to my blog at the bottom with a link to amazon.com.
Your writing is so visual, the picture that this brings to my mind is incredibly vivid. And I love the phrase ‘ghost train screams by in the distance’. Just grabbed Blood Skies off of Smashwords – you are an unbelievably generous human being. Thank you.
Fantastic! I mean “fan”tastic–since I am a fan! The sense of foreboding is palpable. I can hardly wait to read this one, too.
such an amazing word choice to breathe life into the scene!
I loved this passage when I read it in the book
Thank you, everybody! You guys always make me feel awesome. =D
